Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information DistilAI Limited ("DistilAI", "we", "us") collects through distilai.ai, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. That is your first name and your email address, along with a note of which page you submitted the form from. We do not ask for payment details, addresses, or phone numbers anywhere on this site.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about DistilAI programmes you have registered interest in.
- To send you our email newsletter, if you have registered.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
When you submit a form, your details are sent to two services:
- Notion, which we use as our customer record system, so we know who has registered and can follow up.
- Beehiiv, which we use to send our email newsletter.
Both are third-party providers based outside New Zealand, which means your information is stored overseas. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it protects that information.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link in it. Clicking it stops the emails immediately, and you never have to explain why.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email stine@distilai.ai and we will action it. There is no charge, and we will respond within 20 working days.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run third-party advertising pixels. If that changes, we will update this policy and say so here.
